The Petition
On August 25th, British Columbians are biking to Victoria to deliver a petition calling for real action on climate change. We are calling for:
- Rejecting proposals for the Enbridge Northern Gateway pipeline and tanker project, Kinder-Morgan Trans-Mountain expansion project, and other fossil fuel exports;
- Committing to meet BC’s legislated target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 33 per cent below 2007 levels by 2020, by increasing investment in renewable energy, creating more viable transit alternatives, and maintaining and increasing the price on carbon pollution.Want to collect real signatures on paper?
