Safety
The Ride for our Future is a long ride and we are sure some parents will have safety concerns. We would like to reassure you, however, that we are doing everything in our power to make the ride as safe as possible.
Our participants will be obeying all traffic laws and regulations, including helmet laws. Participants sign on to this when they register. Our route will follow bike paths and lanes whenever possible. We will also have a support car (which we will carbon offset), and people trained in first aid present in case of emergency. Finally, we encourage all participants to participate in our practice ride to get used to cycling in a large group.
